Sheffield Theatres To Stage Series Of Sarah Kane Plays In February | Arts
This February, Sheffield Theatres are putting on the full works of playwright Sarah Kane, which has been dubbed: Rhe Sarah Kane Season. Kane was a playwright who wrote poetically and openly about severe mental illness, sexuality, and the notion of hope. Her plays use violence, and other external grim realities to sound effect, in order to capture an extensive darker side of the human experience. Kane’s plays are well worth going to see, and will possibly make you feel life differently, for better or worse. Further details about the event are here.
