Two young twin sisters from Italy are the creators of possibly the new ‘must have’ bag: called Prima (“first” in English), a name that represents the entrance in the worldwide fashion scene for models Camilla and Giulia Venturini.

They co-founded a Milan based brand, Medea, another significant name, that has a high reminiscence to Pier Paolo Pasolini‘s 1969 film about the Greek mythological sorceress.

The first project is a very simple but accurate bag, characterized by a straightforward shape, and available in eight basic colors and four sizes, ranging from a micro to oversized (on the website you can find the correct dimensions in cm).

The quality is of course Italian and the bags are all crafted from calfskin leather sourced from Verona. Both sides have magnetic button fastening, the feet are metal and the bag is provided with an inside pocket too.

The duo plans to expand their collection with a handful of artist collaborations and have alreday attracted the attention of model Paloma Elsesser and artist Petra Collins with their newborn Prima.

Commenting their success, the sisters say: “We are not very girly, so the product is simple and elegant and can be used for day or night. It doesn’t make you look like you have a fancy, feminine bag, but more like you have a cool bag” .
