Smashing Pumpkins’ Future Is ‘Kind Of Murky’ Says Billy Corgan | Music News
Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins has said that the future of the band is uncertain. Although now currently existing with a new line-up, the band may only be around for another year or so. Corgan believes that most of the problems come from the band’s ability (or lack of) to continue its relevance, suggesting that audiences are still stuck in the past, and only think that their 90’s period of songs are important to the band’s legacy. For the band to keep going, fans need to listen to the new stuff, so that they don’t become a museum type of act. Listen to Billy’s thoughts below.
