Spencer Matthews Quits ‘I’m A Celebrity’ On Medical Grounds | TV News
Well that was a short lived adventure… Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews’ jungle journey has already come to an end after just two days in camp for “medical reasons“. The 27 year old, who joined the show alongside TOWIE’s Ferne McCann and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison seemed to be coping with jungle life extremely well, even managing to complete a bushtucker trail before his departure.
An ITV spokesman confirmed: “Spencer Matthews has left the jungle. We’re sorry to see him leave. He was a great booking and was shaping up to be a great character. We are sorry to see him go”. Previously, Matthews revealed how determined he was to succeed in the jungle – “I would love to win, but that’s not why I’m here. I’d like to become a bit more vulnerable. I want to be challenged, physically and mentally. I enjoy putting myself through strenuous experiences – whether it be sporting experiences or giving myself goals”. I’m sure a lot of fans will be sorry to see you go Spencer!
