‘Supergirl’ Episode Delayed Out Of Respect After Paris Attacks | TV News

After the tragic terror attacks that occurred in Paris last Friday, citizens of the capital have been left submerged in an atmosphere of fear and tenderness, leaving lives changed forever. With the world united in mourning and loss, sensitivity is at the heart of everyone’s intentions; which has inspired CBS’ decision to push back their latest episode of Supergirl that was to be aired tonight.

The delay originates from the episode’s story line that will feature a series of bombing attacks in the DC heroine’s area of residence in National City – a plot that is simply too sensitive to consider airing. Played by Melissa Benoist, the series follows 24-year old Kara Zor-El as she strives to embrace her powers after being sent away from Krypton at 13. An official reschedule date is still to be confirmed.
