The 1975 Announce Spring 2020 UK And Ireland Arena Tour | Music News

The 1975 have revealed the details of their upcoming UK and Ireland tour. The band will hit the road in February next year to support their upcoming LP Notes On A Conditional Form.

The 1975’s massive UK and Ireland arena tour is set to kick off on February 15 in Nottingham. The Manchester band will also be returning to their hometown on February 28. Other UK shows include Newcastle, Leeds, Cardiff and, of course, the capital city.

The fourth studio album from The 1975 named Notes On A Conditional Form drops on February 21, which coincides with the date of their London show at The 02 Arena. The Matty Healy-fronted band are also slated to perform in Glasgow and Dublin in March.

Last month, The 1975 gave fans the first taste of their forthcoming record. For the new single “People”, the band joined forces with teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg. The track features a speech by the 16-year-old Swede, in which she encourages listeners to rebel against the establishment to protect our planet.

In 2018, the group released their critically-acclaimed third full-length. A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, featuring such singles as “Give Yourself a Try” and “Love It If We Made It”, won the award for British Album of the Year at this year’s Brit Awards.
