The All-American Rejects Return With ‘Sweat’ And ‘Close Your Eyes’ | Music News

After 5 years of silence the All-American Reject are officially back, as a few days ago they have released a new EP called Sweat. “Sweat” and “Close Your Eyes” are the two tracks on the EP. Lead singer Tyson Ritter said of the tracks, “Every song was its own unique experience in terms of having the band find itself and it felt as though our identity crisis was over, and we got to take this back”.

The new project from the band is strictly connected with the music video directed by Jamie Thraves. The film is a story about this functioning identity crisis and expectations on how we’re supposed to be in a public place. The new project is a story tale of sometimes sad and sometimes very funny outcomes.

The song “Sweat” could become a hit, reaching the level of “Dirty Little Secret” and “Mr. Brightside” which helped introduce the band to the public in 2009.

The band will be on tour from July 13 and their new EP is available on Amazon, Apple, Spotify and Google.
