The Best Of Emerging Korean Fashion Designers | Fashion News

Korean fashion is now getting more and more attention from customers and fashion press worldwide.

Seoul Fashion Week has just come to an end, but through the capital’s street you can breathe fashion everywhere. The average guy up to kids, anyone follows the rules of a fashion market which has a strong power in the country, even if sometimes you can bump into very insane styles.

Seoul Fashion Week took place at the Zaha Hadid-designed Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and presented the collections of some of the most talented emerging Korean designers.

Let’s have a look at their creations.

D’Antidote‘s collection pays homage to British punk, completed by Sex Pistols soundtrack, for the fashion show. The looks presented are really strong, as well as designer’s collaboration with Fila.

Tha Scandinavian-like name Münn‘s looks deliver British vibes under the tunes of The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony”. The models walked down the runway wearing houndstooth, tweed and chunky knits.

Blindness‘ keyword for this show is audacity. The collection presents a gender-queer peacocking in lace, velvet and ruffles with pearls as main item. From hanging chain to sunglasses, pearls look simply stunning.

Kim Seo Ryong focuses on tailoring to display his suits. Leather and satin play a great role in the collection, but also you’ll find snake-patterned trucker jackets and blazers.
