The Dark Tower is a 2017 fantasy film starring Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Abbey Lee, Jackie Earle Haley and Katheryn Winnick. It is directed by Nikolaj Arcel (known for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and A Royal Affair). This looks like a not to be missed film, judging from the video material released so far.
A synopsis for The Dark Tower reads: “The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where “the world has moved on” in pursuit of the man in black. Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world”.
The Dark Tower will make its debut in UK cinemas on August 18. Until then, watch below a featurette for the film, which is titled ‘Magnum Opus’.
