The FAB Group, who has previously brought you FAB Magazine, FAB Online, FAB Radio, FAB Television, FAB Mobile and the FAB App, all of which pass on the fashion and lifetstyle of Africans, are extremely excited to unveil their latest venture by opening the FAB Shop. Located at 25 Oduduwa Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, the boutique is now a part of the already popular and vibrant shopping scene on mainland Lagos.
The shop’s aim is to provide a hub for African designers to reach the Lagosian fashion lovers and to help support the marketing for emerging fashion design talent from Africa. Familusi Akin Babajide, aka Mr. FAB said about the FAB shop, “the growth of African fashion lies in the ability to create wealth for the creatives, and at FAB we realise that we may have done well in exposing raw talent from out of Africa to Africans and the rest of the world but now need to actively participate in helping to create a sustainable structure for the industry, an industry I have been in for 13 years. Hence, The FAB Shop“.
The shop will be open from 8am to 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays and from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays, leaving you plenty of time to explore and delve into all the latest and most beautiful items they have to offer. Some designers that may wet your appetite that will be stocked in the FAB shop include accessory designers O’eclat and Kenza Accessories, womenswear from London-based labels Honey Malaolu and Didi Creations, Nigerian womenswear labels Kiki Kamanu and Pearl 1130, menswear labels David Wej and Exclamations Couture, casual wear brands Literati, Yetty D and 24 Apparel, with many more labels set to join the FAB boutique soon.
To celebrate the grand opening of the highly anticipated FAB shop, there will be a very glamorous, star studded launch party on Sunday the 29th of June from 2pm that will see the exclusive unveiling of FABoSphere and other exciting new ventures into the world of African fashion and lifestyle. The launch party is supported by Baileys, Newton and David, Reis and Possente Cakes, Maghefa Restaurants and Beat FM. This is a FABulous event that you do not want to miss!
