Following the announcement of Belle and Sebastian as the first addition to the 2015 line-up for Liverpool Sound City, it has now been announced that legendary act The Flaming Lips will perform as the festival’s Saturday night headliners. Its been 15 years since the band performed in Liverpool and what better way to return, than via one of the city’s most infamous festivals! Sound City have stated that they will release more names to the bill early next year. The festival will take place from the 22nd to the 24th of May 2015 and early bird wristbands for the full three days are £50. Get them now here, also check out festival packages here too.
