The Flaming Lips Share Details Of ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ Tribute Album | Music News
With A Little Help From My Fwends, the long-awaited covers album from The Flaming Lips of The Beatles’ 1967 Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band will be released on October 28, and the Flaming Lips have shared some new details about the record. Exclusive material will be available by pre-ordering the album through Pledge Music, including signed Vinyl and CDs, posters and t-shirts.
You can also have a look at what frontman Wayne Coyne has to say about the album and check the album tracklist with amazing featuring artists here. An amount of the album’s sales will benefit the Bella Foundation, an organization in the band’s Oklahoma City hometown that helps low income, elderly, or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care. The band also shared a drawing of Wayne Coyne by the album’s cover artist Oliver Hilber on their Twitter page here. Listen to The Flaming Lips and Electric Wurms’ cover of “Fixing a Hole” below.
