The Mysterines – Who’s Ur Girl? | New Music

The Mysterines, a music trio composed by Lia Metcalfe (vocals and guitar), George Favager (bass) and Chrissy Moore (drums), released a new powerful single titled “Who’s Ur Girl?” on November 8th. The song follows the summer release of their debut EP Take Control, as well as their recent support slots with Royal Blood and Sea Girls.

The trio is quickly achieving a great success, also thanks to their nomination by Radio X as one of the “Artists And Bands For 2019”, and the support from BBC 6Music.

“Who’s Ur Girl” is an energetic and vital track, with a catchy rhythm and powerful guitar licks and vocals. The song was inspired by David Lynch’s mystery thriller Blue Velvet. Lyrics are based on a brief descriptive narrative of the viewer’s experience, whilst watching the film, and the point of view of one of the main characters of the movie, Dorothy Vallens.

The band will be supporting The Amazons on their November UK tour alongside Demob Happy. In particular, the band will perform at the O2 Brixton Academy in London on November 22 and we are looking forward to getting goose bumps when listening to the live performance of this song. In the meantime, listen to “Who’s Your Girl” below:
