The Single ‘Miss You In The Morning’ From Kyle Lacy Is Out Now! | Music News

The new single “Miss You In The Morning” from Atlanta-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist rock’n’roll Kyle Lacy has just been released on February 9! It is part of his brand new debut album The Road To Tomorrow.

This soul, blues and rockabilly artist was inspired by icons such as Aretha Franklin, Brian Setzer, Sam Cooke, Van Morrison, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry and especially by the film Ray.

Kyle met his producer Billy Aukstik at Hive Mind Recording, a recording studio in Brooklyn. They hit it off right away both on and off the job, and it wasn’t unusual for them to record a song in one day.

His music is very much inspired by his life experiences. In the album The Road To Tomorrow, each sound is about a life experience or an injury. It allows the artist to move forward.

Kyle Lacy received good reviews in the press, including Adobe & Teardrops saying “With Lacy’s sprightly vocals — JD McPherson should look over his shoulder — and the band packing the album into a two-day recording session, the album packs a needed punch.”

The band’s next concert date will be February 20, 2020 at the Bossa Bistro & Lounge in Washington DC, followed by a host of other live performances in the US.
