After briefly announcing they would be working on the follow-up to their latest album, Comedown Machine, in 2013, The Strokes have recently been revealed to be working in a studio in Mexico, after the studio owner posted a picture of them working, as well as saying that the studio has been booked for months. Before this announcement, however, The Strokes were known to already be in Mexico for a music festival, Live Out Monterrey, that they would be playing later today. No further details have yet been revealed about the upcoming album.
