The V&A Museum Celebrates The Iconic Christian Dior | Fashion News

Another amazing opportunity at the V&A Museum to write down in your calendars and not to be missed; it will be the largest exhibition about Christian Dior and his art, the legendary impact he had on fashion.

Opening officially on Saturday, February 2 2019, ‘Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams‘ will run until July 14 and will present more than 500 objects from the designer’s archive and the most stunning dresses eyes have seen.

It will be a journey in the history of the fashion house, demonstrating the impact of one of the 20th century’s most influential couturiers.

The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the London museum and the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. It is organized and curated by Olivier Gabet and Florence Mϋller.

It will be also an opportunity to see the works and the progress of the six artistic directors who followed the genius. Why in England then? “There is no other country in the world, besides my own, whose way of life I like so much. I love English traditions, English politeness, English architecture. I even love English cooking.” and these are words of Christian Dior.

This was just an anticpation: tickets will be available this fall. If you have the chance to be in London, maybe plan a visit, go and dream.
