Lauren Cohan who plays Maggie Greene, is set to take on the role of Martha Wayne in the upcoming Batman v Superman film. Partnered with her TWD co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) playing as Thomas Wayne, they are expected to contribute to the origin story of the Dark Knight himself. The extent in which they will appear however is still unknown, as the role of the Wayne’s has commonly been limited to their death.
This is especially true for Zack Snyder’s iteration, as the film serves as both collaboration and reboot of the hero’s cinematic appearance. None the less Batman v Superman is set to become one of this years biggest blockbuster hits, heading toe to toe with Marvel’s Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Captain America: Civil War.
