Toro Y Moi is set to release his next album titled What For? on April 7 on Carpark Records. His two most previous releases, Anything In Return and Michael (under his Les Sins alias), were refreshing promenades into synth-pop with R&B sensibilities and House-influenced Dance. Along with announcing a new album, Toro dropped a new track from the upcoming project titled “Empty Nesters” which first premiered on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 program. The song is a more natural, indie rock sound which is a testament to Toro’s unpredictability with his music. Stream the new track below.
