Track List Announced For The Chainsmokers’ Debut Album | Music News

It is without a doubt that The Chainsmokers have dominated the charts ever since their viral hit, “Let Me Take A Selfie”. Since the reveal of their track, “Something Just Like This”, with Coldplay at The 2017 Brit Awards it was at one point one of the few songs to interrupt Ed Sheeran’s sweep of the Top 10 spots last week.

The album, out on April 7, features the addictive Coldplay feature as well as their first hit of 2017, “Paris”, which is defined by “a sentimental yearning for a reality that isn’t genuine 2 : an irrecoverable condition for fantasy that evokes nostalgia or day dreams”.

So it is obvious that the hit-making duo have really invested creative time and energy into the journey of the album, creating a story and a journey in parallel to the tracks. The symbolism behind the album is very personal, the artwork being the childhood memory box; each song representing a certain feeling or experience that may be hidden inside.

You can see collaborations with Emily Warren, Grammy award-winning songwriter, who is the mysterious female vocalist featured without credit on “Paris”. Florida Georgia Line, our favorite country duo, who have collaborated with The Backstreet Boys and Tim McGraw, to name a few. You can also see features from angelic RnB singer-songwriter, Jhene Aiko, and French pop artist, Louane.

We have seen The Chainsmokers take the EDM and pop world by storm through unexpected collaborations and catchy hooks. Is their album a clean sweep of hits? Which track are you most looking forward to? See the track list below:
