Trinity Mirror Launching £5m Ad Campaign To Promote ‘The New Day’ Newspaper | TV News
Company Trinity Mirror is going all the way to publicise its new paper, launching a £5m ad campaign to raise awareness of its new newspaper The New Day, including a heavyweight TV push, radio, social media and print advertising.
The upbeat campaign, using the rather apt strapline “seize the new day” begins with prime time adverts during major TV shows – Coronation Street, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, and Game of Thrones. Group marketing director Zoe Harris commented on the campaign:
“The launch campaign captures the spirit of how our reader feels – upbeat and positive, relishing life,”
