Unknown Mortal Orchestra – Multi-Love | New Music

Five years is a long time, but the psych-pop masters behind Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the creators of the masterpiece “So Good At Being In Trouble” are back, having just announced a new album titled Multi-Love, which will be released on May 26 via Jagjaguwar. Along with the news, UMO have also shared the album’s title track, which you can stream below.

Frontman Ruban Nielson said about the album that “It felt good to be rebelling against the typical view of what an artist is today, a curator. It’s more about being someone who makes things happen in concrete ways. Building old synthesizers and bringing them back to life, creating sounds that aren’t quite like anyone else’s. I think that’s much more subversive“. Multi-Love is the follow-up to two impressive albums, 2011’s self-titled debut and 2013’s II. In support of the new album, UMO will embark on an extensive world tour. Scroll down and check out the dates, as well as the Multi-Love tracklist.
