Unseen Footage Of George Michael’s ‘Freedom ’90’ Video Is Out Now | Music News

George Michael unveiled the music video for “Freedom ’90” in October 2009. The most famous models of the time appeared on the video including Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington, and Cindy Crawford. Last week some of the original supermodels of the ’90s reunited for the Versace Fashion Show in Milan, cat-walking to the soundtrack of “Freedom”. The visuals for the single became some of the most iconic music clips of all time.

This video is part of a celebration of the singer’s most iconic work as an artist, which includes a documentary that focuses on Michael’s entire career but particularly the height of his fame leading up to the release of 1990’s Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 (“Freedom ’90” is taken from this album) and a new version of Listen Without Prejudice/ MTV Unplugged, which will be released on October 20th.

The release by the George Michael VEVO page shows the artist on the set of the video alongside behind the scenes shots and outtakes.
