‘Uptown Funk’ Is The UK’s Biggest-Selling Song Of 2015 | Music News

Are you really surprised? We are not. With a combined sales and streaming total of 1.76 million, Mark Ronson “Uptown Funk” has closed 2015 as the UK’s biggest-selling song of the year, without counting the the sales and streams from November 2014, which push that total to 2.25 million.

 

The song, whose video was already awarded as the most watched video on Vevo in 2015, has taken the first place from others 2015 big hits, such as “Cheerleader” by Omi (Felix Jaehn remix), “Take Me To Church” by Hozierand “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding. It is worth noticing that some of the tracks entered the chart despite being release later in the year, such as “Hello” by Adele, and Justin Bieber “Sorry”, both released in October 2015.
