Vicky Pattison Is Crowned ‘Queen Of The Jungle’ | TV News
Vicky Pattison, star of MTV’s Geordie Shore, is the winner of this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. The 28 year old reality show regular beat Union J singer George Shelley, 22, who took the runner-up spot. TOWIE‘s Ferne McCann, 25, Vicky’s ‘best friend’ on the show, came third in the contest. Vicky was crowned ‘Queen Of The Jungle‘ by last year’s winner, World Superbike champion Carl ‘Foggy’ Fogarty.
The winner seemed keen to put her racy past behind her. Alluding to being intimate on TV with her then boyfriend Ricci Guarnaccio, Vicky told hosts Ant and Dec, “I haven’t always done the right thing or acted in the right way. I’ve done a lot of stupid things. (But) this is me and by keeping me in here I think people are telling me I’m OK and I’m not a bad person“.
In 2013, Vicky was arrested for assault after throwing her shoes at someone in a nightclub. She was charged over £6000 in fine and ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work. Before she secured a slot on Geordie Shore, Vicky worked as a VIP Club Hostess, after graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2.1. Talking to the Mirror, a source revealed that Vicky is set to become a millionaire in 2016, and now looks set to fulfil her dreams of becoming a TV presenter.
