Viki Announces Release Date For It’s Upcoming Series ‘Dramaworld’ | TV News
Television channel Viki have just announced the premiere date for its upcoming original series Dramaworld, the 10-episode series launching the 17th of April and will be available for fans in both English and Korean.
The show focuses on a young TV fan – played by Liv Hewson – who is obsessed with Korean Dramas, soon finding herself inside of one, the series querying whether the situation is as heavenly as you’d think, or a twisted nightmare which she cannot escape from.
Viki’s CEO Tammy H. Nam issued a press release about the show saying:
“In many ways, ‘Dramaworld’ exemplifies the future of TV: global production partners, an international cast and crew, a storyline written for an international and increasingly mobile audience, and digital-only distribution deals.”
The series also stars Sean Dulake, Justin Chon, Kim Sa Hee, Bae Noo Ri, and Jimmy Shubert.
