Virgil Abloh Debuts Off-White Eyewear Collection | Fashion News

For the first time, Off White has unveiled an entire collection dedicated to eyewear. Behind this project, we can find Virgil Abloh, artistic director for men at Louis Vuitton, and founder of the Off-White brand.

In this collection, we can find something for all tastes. With several avant-garde frames, and a unique style specific to the brand, the accessories offered include the square frame and ‘Marfa’, in a narrow style, but also the oversized ‘Alps’ frame.

We can also discover the ‘Manchester’ glasses, which make a nod to the 80s, and the ‘Cape’, which is reminiscent of the 1990s, with its metal frame and oval lenses.

The line also uses the old Off-White models, including the signature ‘Virgil’ shape, the rectangular ‘Arthur’ silhouette, the enlarged ‘Tropez’ frames and the perforated ‘Cady’ sunglasses.

I don’t believe in genre, only design”, Virgil Abloh said in a statement about the eyewear collection.

The brand has also utilisied classic colors for this first collection. The glasses feature colors such as candy pink, canary yellow, or blue.

It was a highly anticipated collection that did not disappoint fans of the brand, given that Off-White’s graphic codes are reiterated in this first line of glasses from Virgil Abloh. The collection is available for pre-order now on the Off-White online store and will arrive in physical stores in June.
