Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for upcoming EDM-centric film We Are Your Friends, starring Zac Efron as an aspiring DJ, who meets an unnamed veteran of the scene (played by Wes Bentley) who becomes his mentor whilst he tries to achieve his dream of becoming a successful DJ. Written and directed by Max Joseph, who is better known for his role alongside Niv Schulman on Catfish: The TV Series, in his feature long film debut, the film seems to be striving for a character-driven inspiration story outside of the main music influence. The film also stars Emily Ratajkowski, Jonny Weston, Shiloh Fernandez, and Jon Bernthal. We Are Your Friends is set for an August 28 release. You can watch the trailer below.
