Yes you read that title right, and yes it really happened, and yes the BAFTAs had a kiss cam, and yes it was genius and completely awe-worthy.
As you all know by now, the British Academy Film Awards were held last night at London’s Royal Opera House. There were a lot of fancy celebrities in attendance (obviously), and our collective boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio was present in all his handsome glory.
Something you might not know, until now, was that the BAFTAs introduced a Kiss Cam. Crazy right? Why doesn’t every award show have one? The cam provided us with several sweet, fun and awkward moments; Bryan Cranston and Julianne Moore shared a passionate kiss while real-life couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander were major spoilsports.
There was another beautiful lady in attendance too, yes I’m talking about the Dowager Countess of Grantham a.k.a Dame Maggie Smith. Guess where she was sitting? You guessed right. She was seated right next to Leo, and when the cam zoomed in on them she got to live out all our Leonardo DiCaprio dreams – and hearts everywhere exploded. Watch it below:
