After a short absence, the boys are finally back! The Lonely Island has just dropped a trailer to their upcoming comedy film featuring Andy Samberg’s fictional character ‘Conner4Real’
Taking on a parody format of concert documentaries (the title being a nod to Never Say Never), the film is directed by Judd Apatow and will tell the story of the rise and fall of Conner, and his immediate attempt at regaining fame. It features a whole cast of guest stars that are set to appear, with Simon Cowell, Snoop Dogg, and Martin Sheen to name just a few.
The film is slated for release this year June 3rd, and will feature original Samberg’s original bandmates Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccome.
