‘Wonder Woman’ Movie To Arrive Sooner Than Expected | Film News

Gal Gadot

Thanks to Warner Bros shuffling their release dates around, DC Comics‘ upcoming Wonder Woman movie has received a much closer US release date; moving from 23 June 2017 to 2 June 2017. Making her debut appearance as the Amazonian Diana Price in Zack Snyder‘s recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot earned high praise from critics; with The Wrap saying she “injects some real vitality into the sludgy, superhero sameness“.

The highly anticipated movie is being directed by Patty Jenkins, who previously directed 2003’s Monster. So far, little is known about the upcoming movie, but current cast members are: Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Lucy Davis (Etta Candy – Diana’s best friend), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta – Diana’s mother) and Robin Wright (General Antiope – Diana’s aunt). Further updates will follow as the movie’s production progresses.
