Yaw Tog Calls On Stormzy And Kwesi Arthur For ‘Sore’ Remix | Music News

Ghanaian newcomer Yaw Tog has released the remix for his hit single “Sore”, in collaboration with UK rap star Stormzy and fellow Ghanaian artist Kwesi Arthur, which is going to be part of his new album TIME that drops on March 25.

The track comes with classic drill video with the artists and their people together having fun and singing in what is being described as a West African Drill and Hip-Hop movement.

Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog first dropped the single “Sore” which translates to “Rise” at the end of last year, at only 17 years old, the “young g” made the buzz on the internet going viral and reaching one million views completely organically (which means by itself without any propaganda).

Now in 2021, during Stormzy’s recently trip to Ghana he participated in the Ghana’s UPP Fest, where Yaw Tog was already shooting for the video with Kweshi Arthur. This is where the three joined forces to make this remix, and Stormzy found himself amongst the next generation of rap in Ghana.

It was a pleasant surprise to land Stormzy on the remix, because he is one of UK’s most influential rappers. His latest album Heavy Is The Head, became his second consecutive number 1 album on the UK Official Charts and has also been certified Platinum.
