Zack Snyder Shares First Image Of Jason Momoa As ‘Aquaman’ | Film News

Seriously, AqUAman has never looked so bad ass. Last night Zack Snyder tweeted the first official image of Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa as the comic-book character and he looks awesome as ‘The King of The Seven Seas’. While it’s reported that Aquaman won’t have a big role in the up and coming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice flick, it is where Momoa will make his debut as the character. Momoa will then go on to appear in the 2017 Justice League flick which will then lead to a solo Aquaman movie.

Momoa looks great in the new image, with a real gritty, dark tone which I’m hoping will coincide with the tone of Batman vs Superman. If you don’t recognise Momoa form his days in Game of Thrones, you may have seen him in the likes of Conan the Barbarian or TV show The Red Road. Despite my reservations about having so many new characters introduced into the Batman vs Superman movie, this new image does actually get me pretty excited to get a glimpse of Aquaman before he heads to the Justice League flick.

Momoa is a good enough actor that would benefit from a commercial, audience friendly role! How do you feel about the first look at Momoa as Aquaman? Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens on March 25, 2016, and Aquaman is set to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.
