2 Chainz had previously shared his 2-song EP, featuring Ty Dolla Sign, Hot Wings Are A Girl’s Best Friend. In December, 2018, he released the visual for the track. Now, the rapper has released yet another music video for his single “Hot Wings”.
The “Hot Wings” video begins with 2 Chainz pulling up to an American Deli where he raps his verses as many girls stand impatiently in front of the restaurant’s entrance. The girls then begin to fight over an order. The video intercuts between this scene and the rapper standing on top of a building with the city behind him.
The Howard Ross-directed visual starts out with a rather colourful palette which gives the audience an old school-vibe. In the second half of the video, the scenery changes to a club-like atmosphere with red and blue LED lights which matches the instrumentation of the track very well. The music has a very catchy rhythm that one is likely to hear in a nightclub.
Moreover, 2 Chainz has been teasing an upcoming project for a while now but no release date was announced. The album is titled Rap Or Go To The League and we could expect it to drop some time this year. On New Year’s Eve, the rap artist had promised on his Instagram that the forthcoming project will become the rap album of the year.
