Melbourne producers 96 Bulls are fresh out of the woodwork with a rather explosive mix of smooth electro and tropical house. In just 3:30 minutes, “Future” resembles the soundtrack to a Playstation 1 platform-adventure: Imagine a smooth-digital synthesiser playing in the background as you navigate your way through the main menu before hitting ‘START LEVEL 1’ and immersing your character into a world of colourful punchy xylophones and chipmunk vocals. Two years on since their last releases, the pair have lost none of their digi-sound, but have managed to acquire the Hawaiian shirt ‘vibez’ which have crept into the tail end of house music’s resurgence.
