Britney Spears reportedly has a song entitled “Invitation” on her upcoming ninth studio album, according to her fansite Britney Galaxy which is known to have connections to Spears’ team. The pop star has been hard at work on her new record for the past two years, and is currently preparing to release the lead single “Make Me (Oooh)” later this month.
The new album has been described as sounding like ‘Britney meets The Weeknd’ by Spears’ long-time manager Larry Rudolph, and other song titles that have been revealed include “Just Luv Me” (or “Just Like Me”), and “Slumber Party”. Songwriting duo Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani) have contributed to the album, as well as producers such as Cashmere Cat and DJ Mustard.
The record is expected in the summer.
