According to Brandon Williams, the person beside moniker Chastity, melancholic song “Peroxide” is a song “about dying, loving”. Both of these are illustrated side-by-side in the music video for the song that was released on May 13.
In the video, we are privy to snippets of a relationship and its sudden end. The piano and stringed instruments in the song almost make it seem like the two are dancing through their lives, whether the emotions are positive or negative; like a classical piece set to modern visuals. There is a lingering coldness that appears not only in each scene, but in Williams’ resounding, pained vocals.
