Colin Newman is best known as the frontman for post-punk band, WIRE. In the early Eighties, though, he became a solo artist of some repute, with the releases of A-Z (1980), Provisionally Entitled The Singing Fish (1981) and Not To (1982). These all have been repackaged for reissue, all three due Friday, October 28. For pre-order and tracklisting, visit here.
This is courtesy of his new imprint, Sentient Sonics. The trio, of course, were originally released via Beggars Banquet/4AD. The vinyl release will consist of the three remastered original albums, released as three single albums. The CD release will consist of the three remastered original albums, each accompanied by a companion CD of additional tracks.
