With Hollywood still taking baby steps towards diversity in cast and production, The Magnificent Seven star, Lee Byung-hun, still remains Hollywood’s go-to Asian actor for big action movies. And big news! He’s just hopped ship from CAA to UTA, according to an exclusive The Hollywood Reporter report.
CAA has its fair share of A-list actors, but the United Talent Agency represents some huge industry names as well. Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Vikander, Anthony Hopkins, Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Radcliffe make up only a few of the many culture icons represented by UTA.
With his impressive filmography, it’s no wonder Lee Byung-hun is able to pick and choose his Hollywood representation. The well-seasoned actor has appeared in Terminator Genisys, Red 2, and the G.I. Joe franchise. His Korean movie starring credits include Single Rider, Master, The Age Of Shadows, Inside Men, I Saw The Devil and The Good The Bad And The Weird.
Switching agencies will hopefully bring him to more Hollywood projects, so keep your eyes peeled for his next appearance in a Hollywood feature film!
