As Day Two came by at California’s biggest festival there were more surprises in store. It brought in a headline from the wackiest queen of pop herself, Lady Gaga, stepping in for Beyonce who pulled out earlier this year. She became the first female in a decade to wow the party goers; a parade of leather, female empowerment and pure electricity combined together with tracks from all albums.
Electronic duo, Disclosure, didn’t fail to disappoint, as artists unveiled on the line-up took to the stage, including Sam Smith, who performed their hit single, “Latch”. Kesha took to the stage to perform with German producer, Zedd.
Would Coachella 2017 really be the same without Drake? He keeps making his stamp on performances throughout this year. Future had guest appearances, from the man himself, performing “Jumpman”, as well as breakthrough Ty Dollar $ign and Migos, who also took to the stage with DJ Snake for their collab of “Oh Me Oh My”.
There were also performances from CHVURCHES, Bastille and Bon Iver. There is no doubt the atmosphere was powerful throughout the whole day and into the night!
