The very talented singer and songwriter Jhené Aiko has just released a new album Trip. This releasing of the new album comes right after the singer debuted her intimate and emotional short film that has the same title.

The new album features 22 tracks and collaborations with Big Sean (“Moments”), Swae Lee (“Sativa”), Kurupt (“Never Call Me”), Brandy (“Ascension”), and Mali Music (“Trip”) among others. Trip is Aiko´s first solo album since she released her 2014 debut “Souled Out”.

The American singer spoke on The Breakfast Club earlier this year about the now unveiled album. “This year, I just really want to show every side of me, really dive into who I am (…) I´m getting older and I feel like I ´m more in tune with who I am and less afraid to express every side of myself.”

She explains that: “The album is inspired by very type of trip you could imagine: mental, physical, even psychedelic. I´m a point where I put it all in the music. It´s a puzzle I want people to put together.”

You can stream the new album Trip now on Spotify or Apple Music.
