Warner Bros. has just delivered the official trailer for a new film entitled Geostorm which is directed by Dean Devlin, well known for his films Stargate, Independence Day, and The Patriot.
Geostorm is a disaster science-fiction movie which features protagonist Gerard Butler as Jake Lawson, a scientist who is charged with the duty of saving the world. After a series of natural disasters, the world’s leaders come together to create a network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But something goes wrong and the satellites, instead of saving the planet, are attacking it. Jake Lawson and his team have to understand and solve the problem of the system before the real threat comes.
The cast is composed of Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, Alexandra Maria Lara, Richard Schiff, Robert Sheehan, Daniel Wu, Eugenio Derbez, Ed Harris and Andy García.
The movie will be released on October, 20, 2017.
