The American fashion brand Calvin Klein have just unveiled its new underwear and jeans campaign called ‘Our Family. #MYCALVINS‘. For years, CK have collaborated with many celebrities from Justin Bieber to Kendall Jenner, but now as the face of the fashion house, there is the singer, model and actress Solange Knowles, who has already done a great job of it.
As the main theme is “Family”, for the brand’s photoshoot curated by Willy Vanderperre, Solange was free to choose her own members and she has included musicians such as Kelela, Dev Hynes, Adam Bainbridge of Kindness, and Chairlift’s Caroline Polacheck.
This choice to create a musical family matches perfectly with the message of this campaign, indeed the brand explained “whether you’re related or you bond over shared dreams, family is what you make it. A patchwork of individuals, unified and unbreakable“.
Looking to this picture, Vanderperre has decided to shoot this family very united and in the center of the room sitting on the traditional American quilt. This picture aims to emphasize the bonds between family members.
“This campaign captures these bonds and brings to life different ways we can inspire families—both born and made—to connect with one another, and celebrate the things that unite us“.
