Remember when Sony announced that the all-star lineup for Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming drama Once Upon A Time In Hollywood included Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen? Well, prepare to say “what” again for Tarantino just added seven more high profile actors to its supporting cast.
The Hollywood fest continues as Dakota Fanning, Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis, Tarantino regulars Clifton Collins Jr and Keith Jefferson have all been confirmed to join the movie, along with Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch and Nicholas Hammond.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which will be Tarantino’s ninth film of a projected 10, is set in 1969 and focuses on various Hollywood characters wandering around Los Angeles, with the Charles Manson cult-related murders as the story’s backdrop.
Deadline reports that: “Lewis will play the iconic actor Steve McQueen; Fanning is set as Squeaky Fromme, the Manson disciple who later tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford; Hammond will play director Sam Wanamaker; and Hirsch is Jay Sebring, the Hollywood hairstylist who was one of four victims in the Tate murders on Cielo Drive. Perry is set to play Scotty Lancer, Collins is Ernesto The Mexican Vaquero, and Keith Jefferson is Land Pirate Keith“.
