It’s a fresh new release for North London singer/songwriter Oscar as he brings all the fun along for the ride in his brand new single “Runaway“.
“Jump into my car / I’ll take you for a ride / I don’t care how far / I still wanna try” sings Oscar.
It’s a non-romantic joy ride of a song that wants desire & daydreams to be your escape regardless of the could’s & should’s of day-to-day life. It’s a lush and fresh new track, with all the right funky synths and rattling with the right kinds of rhythm. And to top it all off, tiffi‘s sweet vocals in between tie it all together.
Much like the subject at hand, Oscar admits that this latest track has been on a bit of a journey. Originally creating the music for a Mabel remix before quickly becoming something he wanted to keep, he adds “The song’s been to New York, Los Angeles, Berlin and Stockholm, but ended-up by the sea in Margate where it was finally finished.”
A prolific writer/producer working with some very of the most exciting new talents such Mabel, Mae Muller and GIRLI to name just a few, Oscar been busy of late getting music ready for himself and others and is now ready to showcase it to the world.
