American record producer and rapper Swizz Beatz has released the stunning visual to his hit single “Echo”, which features rap artist Nas. The banger belongs to one of the highlights of Beatz’s latest debut album Poison.
The music video is set in the teamLab Borderless exhibit at the MORI Building Digital Art Museum in Tokyo. The two entertainers present their master-verses in front of the backdrops of teamLab’s crazy visuals.
Beatz had been teasing the music video release for weeks on his socials, stating that “no green screens” were utilised during the filming process.
Poison is considered to be Swizz Beatz’s recently shared second studio album. The 10-track project features talented artists, including Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, French Montana, Young Thug, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. Alicia Keys has also featured on piano for the track “Pistol On My Side (P.O.M.S.)”.
During an interview with Complex, Beatz has shared the process of creating Poison: “I didn’t have to go get the most crossed over song to feel cool or to try and justify anything. I was actually able to focus on the craft, lyricism, poetry, and the actual producing of an album as a body of work”.
Be sure to check out the amazing visual and the studio album.
