The In The Tall Grass novella written by Stephen King and Joe Hill has given birth to a new horror movie, directed by Vincenzo Natali. The story of In the Tall Grass is about a brother and sister who, after hearing a boy’s cry for help, decide to look for him in a large field of grass in Kansas. Soon they will lose their way home, discovering that there may be not a way out.
“Some places have a mind of their own“, the new film trailer video states as the scenes run quickly on the screen. In this new film the two brothers are not simply lost in the field in which they decide to enter.
As the trailer shows, there is a sinister force that disorients and separates them. So, they will find themselves quickly cut off from the world. They are unable to escape the grass of the field and completely alone in the middle of nowhere.
They do not know what could happen in the night: it is in the darkness that they will bump into a child, which appears to point out: “You can find things. But it’s easier once they’re dead“.
It has been presented as a world preview at the Fantastic Fest on September 20 and will be released on Netflix on October 4. Watch the exciting new trailer below:
