British pop band Spandau Ballet first lit up our stages in the late 1970s with their Blitz Kid image and slick attitudes. As they soon rose to prominence, the iconic band achieved global success selling over 25 million records. Now the boys are lighting up our stage once again in the first documentary to account for their history; Soul Boys of the Western World, directed by George Hencken.
The feature film received its world premiere in competition at the SXSW Film Festival back in March and welcomed outstanding reviews. The archive-only film will offer a great insight for all doting fans, featuring interviews with all five members of the band and some never-before-seen videos from the group’s personal collection. Expect a blast from the past, discovering the 80s all over again, from music through to fashion, and a great commentary on the social and cultural movements during the era.

For those of you who simply cannot wait for its general release on October 3, special one-off tickets are now on sale that allow fans to see the film at their local cinema, followed by a Q & A and live performance by Spandau Ballet, streamed directly by satellite from the Royal Albert Hall on September 30.
