Singer and songwriter TENNIN from Paris has just released her brand new R&B/Pop single “Take A Ride” as celebration of a new era of songwriting. Her next project will be an EP whose first single will be released in October.
With her previous music the young artist already gained attention by tastemakers as InRocksLab, Radio Nova, Earmilk and Afropunk. She is well-known for an alternative, indie style with pop influences and made her way into the international pop scene in 2015.
Back then she extended her potential as an artist and performed in France, Germany and in the UK. Her single “Heal You” caught the attention of the popular trip-hop pioneer Tricky, who signed the single to his label False Idols.
In 2020 the rising talent released her single “Guys In Tears“ which was provided by the well-known Parisian electronic label Kitsune Music. Furthermore she did an unusual collaboration with Gospel Singer Liz McComb and at this moment is producing her upcoming EP, which due to release for early 2021.
With the new EP she aims to invite us into her own universe of feelings and personal stories. “Take A Ride” is a first insight into this exciting new world. For TENNIN it’s a “hymn to freedom and a gateway out of our daily routine“. Classic R&B vibes is meeting here with Pop and a sparkle of 90’s vibe. Listen to the unique tune below.
