After their last album reached #7 on the Apple Music Charts, India’s most promising acts, ZZ & Lil Littlez reinvent themselves with “The Island”, a catchy club anthem from their brand-new album SUPERVILLAINZ.
The two work in tandem, bringing out darker & more playful shades to their musical landscape, elevating their sound. The cold winter vibe of the song juxtaposes with its lyrics making it perfect for any season. It sets the tone for the album, igniting the flame for what’s to come.
Growing up in New Delhi, India, ZZ was constantly exposed to various different cultures, inspiration and ideologies. This encouraged him to explore and get involved in more creative mediums like film and music.
Currently living in Los Angeles, he seized the opportunities that were available in the City of Dreams which led to him collaborating with artists such as Guapdad 4000, 24KGoldn, Yungbans, Wifisfuneral, etc. He also worked with LONEWOLF (a director for Drake and ASAP Rocky) to film a music video for his single “Fire”.
Lil Littlez, real name Sohail Rana Kanwar, started listening to hip-hop when he really young, and it stayed a constant throughout every musical phase of his life. As he grew older, he began to experience different cultures, especially when he lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 4 years of his life.
In this time, Lil Littlez worked on developing his own style, and created one that was a blend of different cultures. His newest album DEGENERATES a collaboration with artists ZZ and Thorii, is a wonderful body of work that showcases different styles and flows.
