Originally from Vancouver, Canada with Ghanaian origins, Sam Darkoh is a versatile artist because he is a songwriter, singer, and rapper. He has been raised between Vancouver and Wisconsin, which permitted him to have a plethora of experiences. Those are well represented through his music.
He made his first step in acting and singing at 23 years old landing roles on Netflix’s show Project MC2 and more recently DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. Then, he started his musical career in 2018 with his 10-track project Ire Desire.
After being absent with the lockdown, he finally made his come-back this year after maturing his new project. Indeed, his new song “Ruby Fever” is the result of non-stop working during the year. The song takes the audience on a lunatic journey with plenty of different energies, which make the song very rhythmic. It helps to be ready for the day and being into a good mood to increase your capacities.
Through the accompanying music video directed by Matt Young, we can perfectly see what Sam and Matt wanted to show. The strong childhood dream to escape from your neighbourhood to conquer the world. The message here is about escaping reality and believe in what you want, accomplish your dream.
